Home Visits

Doctor's bag

Home visits are intended for those who are house bound and too ill to come to the surgery. Our doctors typically see four patients in the practice, in the time it takes to do a single home visit. For this reason, we ask our patients to come to the practice if at all possible.

If you wish to request a home visit please call before 10.00 am giving the reception team your details, some description of the problem and a phone number. To help the doctors make best use of their time they will call you back before any visit.

You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
